Nanao Art Museum
Noto’s only comprehensive art museum, characterized by its seven domed roofs. The museum exhibits outstanding works of art, many of which are associated with Noto. In spring, the museum holds an annual series of exhibitions of Hasegawa Tohaku (1539-1610), a painter from Nanao who was active in the Momoyama Period. In the fall, the museum holds the “Bologna, Italy International Picture Book Original Drawing Exhibition” for parents and children to enjoy together.
